Discussion Question 1:
What types of things would you suggest to a manager be included in a Network Access Policy? Should users be allowed to bring their own equipment? Can users connect to the company’s network? Can users do personal work on company issued equipment? Find an example policy that a company has and indicate whether you agree with the policy.
Do you know what impression you are projecting when you interview? Have you ever had an interview go so well that you knew you had the job – or one that you knew was a failure? Do you know why? This week you learned strategies for interviewing and got valuable practice via InterviewStream. It is essential to look at yourself as the interviewee with a critical eye so you can learn to present your most favorable self.
In a minimum of 150 words, answer the following question:
Based on what you’ve learned this week, what are three things that you could improve as you practice your interviewing skills? Is there anything you’ll be working to change next time you interview for a position? Be specific and cite specific examples from your reading or the videos this week. Why do you think you struggle in those areas?
Provide any strategies, tips, or ideas that you’ve found helpful in your interviewing experiences that others might be able to use to help in the areas they struggle in. Use examples from your own career, and remember to keep your responses professional (please do not use real company or personal names).
